- ➤ Families visited the new Space Explorers Mission Infinity exhibit at the Washington Pavilion, where interactive rocket launches and an alien-making activity allowed kids to experience walking in space as the exhibit opened Saturday, November 15. KXRB
ENVIRONMENT NEWS
- ➤ Zebra mussels were found in Sheridan Reservoir, making it the second Black Hills waterbody with the invasive species — testing by GFP and federal partners identified two mussels at separate sites during over 1,600 inspections in 2025. Boaters are urged to pull plugs, drain water and dry equipment to help prevent spreading the mussels. KELOLAND

- ➤ Sanford Health announced today that it will build a new hospital in Rapid City on a 110-acre site after receiving a $300M gift from philanthropist Denny Sanford — the 480,000-square-foot campus will offer an initial 168 inpatient beds with plans to expand to 336 beds.
