  • Governor Larry Rhoden led a successful pheasant hunt on Saturday as his group shot over 100 birds — reflecting South Dakota’s hunting tradition. South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks urged hunters to drive carefully on soft unpaved roads after heavy rains.  KELOLAND

HEALTH NEWS

  • Sanford marks Physical Therapy month by showing how therapy helped Karen Davison, who had struggled with incontinence for two years, improve her daily life. Physical therapist Sherry Miller guided her through exercises to strengthen pelvic muscles—this change reduced her embarrassment—and Davison now encourages others to try physical therapy.  KELOLAND

SPORTS NEWS

  • Dordt moved to 6-0 on the season after beating Mount Marty 33-13—forcing three turnovers and outgaining the opponent 294-110 on the ground. Northwestern upset fourth-ranked Morningside 14-13 when a blocked PAT in the fourth decided the game and Colby Duncan’s 73-yard touchdown pass proved to be the winner.  KELOLAND
