ACCIDENTS NEWS
- ➤ A Beechcraft plane crashed at Brookings Regional Airport early Saturday at 9 a.m.—the pilot and front-seat passenger were airlifted to Sioux Falls hospital while the rear passenger was treated in Brookings as the aircraft caught fire and investigators work to determine the cause. KELOLAND
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ City officials said Lake Mitchell will not be drained this year—an analysis must be completed before the dam is rebuilt to address safety concerns. They will update the plan at the September 15 council meeting. KELOLAND
