- ➤ On Saturday afternoon, Dakota Dachshund Rescue held Woofstock at Remedy Brewing—where people saw adoptable dogs, a petting zoo, and vendors that helped raise money for pet medical care. - ➤ On Saturday, volunteers gave free socks, underwear, food and supplies to about 750 kids and nearly 900 attendees at the Celebrating Families Back to School Fair to help families prepare for the first day of school next Thursday. - ➤ On Saturday afternoon, one man was seriously injured when his motorcycle went over a curb near 16th Street and Kiwanis Avenue at about 1:00 p.m.—the 25-year-old driver was not wearing a helmet. KELOLAND
- ➤ A crash on Highway 11 southeast of Sioux Falls closed the intersection at 271st Street Friday night while first responders worked the injury-accident scene plus the roadway reopened before 10:30 p.m. with no details on injuries provided. KELOLAND
