- ➤ Rapid City police say a shooting occurred Thursday night near Mount Rushmore Road and Allen Avenue at about 7:05 p.m. when an officer was flagged by a driver, and after speaking with witnesses, investigators identified 29-year-old Kenneth Norman—a Sioux Falls parolee wanted for a parole violation—as the armed and dangerous suspect with the search ongoing.
