- ➤ Sioux Falls Fire & Rescue responded early Wednesday morning near the 1200 block of West 38th Street when crews discovered smoke and fire coming from the back of a home—teams quickly extinguished the moderate kitchen fire, ventilated the structure, and returned a dog to its owner with no reported injuries. - ➤ Three people are behind bars after an assault turned into murder and police shot and identified 23-year-old Deondre Black Hawk, who was wanted on felony charges and is linked to a Sunday shooting — authorities said. The Project Prison Reset task force removed Mitchell and Worthing from its proposals after public comments, and a broken line of storms is expected to hit western areas late this afternoon — officials explained.
