- ➤ Starting tomorrow, June 19, construction will close the recreational trail along the east side of the Big Sioux River from West 49th Street to the Sertoma Trail Bridge for reconstruction. A detour is provided along the river’s west bank via West 41st Street and the Sertoma Trail Bridge — weather permitting, this phase of work is expected to finish within three weeks with the entire project scheduled to end on August 15.
