  • Sioux Falls’ first location for The Human Bean, franchised locally by Elizabeth Menke, will open on Thursday at 2801 E. Jackson St.—offering drive-thru and walk-up service along 69th Street.   • An Oglala Sioux Tribe Department of Public Safety officer shot Cody Dittman on May 2 during a high-speed pursuit on Pine Ridge Reservation after he allegedly strangled a pregnant woman at a hotel; Dittman was apprehended on May 7 and faces state charges in South Dakota and Nebraska as well as federal charges—this is the third officer-involved shooting in South Dakota in 2025.  KELOLAND
  • Sioux Falls Police are asking the public to help find 13 year old Miracle Red Cloud, who has been missing since May 8 and was last seen in the central area — anyone with information should call 6053677000.  KXRB
  • A Sioux Falls man, 23-year-old Wyatt Nuchols, was booked into Minnehaha County Jail on a $50,000 bond after he was charged with soliciting a 13-year-old girl last summer and providing harmful materials to minors—his first court hearing remains unscheduled.  KELOLAND
