South Dakota News Watch has hired Molly Wetsch—a native of Sioux Falls who grew up in farming communities and the Cheyenne River Indian Reservation—to cover rural and Native American stories beginning July 7 as she will live downtown and travel the state under the Report for America program. News Watch is also hiring a statehouse investigative reporter to cover state government in Pierre.

Beau Vondra has joined Fernson Brewing Company as Director of Food & Beverage Operations to launch Totally Rad Eats, a new food venture that will offer pizzas, pretzels and snacks at The Brewery and Fernson Downtown in Sioux Falls + the company said more details will be announced soon as they build the kitchen and finalize the menu.
