- ➤ Sioux Falls man Aaron Timothy Jonespokett, 36, was booked Tuesday morning into Minnehaha County Jail on four counts of sexual contact with a child under 16—allegations stemming from a two-year game where the victim went too far—and he was scheduled to appear in court that same Tuesday. - ➤ On Sunday a 50-year-old woman was assaulted in the parking lot of a Sunshine Foods store after finishing her shopping when a 20-year-old suspect hit her and stole her car keys—police later recovered her vehicle a few miles away and arrested the suspect after a brief foot pursuit. KXRB

- ➤ Sioux Falls Fire Rescue crews conducted prescribed burns in Yankton Trail Park (3901 South Minnesota Avenue) and Farm Field Park (4401 South Western Avenue) Tuesday, April 8 to clear noxious weeds and promote native prairie restoration.
