- ➤ A letter written on March 30 urged future mayoral candidates to build on Sioux Falls’ long history of nonpartisan government and a spirit of collaboration — it noted a new state law now sets city elections with statewide primaries in June or general elections in November and said leaders must address challenges like housing, growth pressures and crime. - ➤ Sioux Falls public transportation became easier over the past six months with a new app, more vehicles and wider coverage that led to a 14% increase in ridership between January 2024 and January 2025.
