- ➤ Today, after the morning commute, lane closures were set up along East Sixth Street at Sycamore Avenue to finish work on pouring utilities for South Veterans Parkway. On Wednesday, March 26, construction will begin at the Arrowhead and Veterans Parkway intersection—resulting in a partial closure of Arrowhead Parkway and a lane reduction on Veterans Parkway as part of a joint city and SDDOT project expected to run through the end of 2025. - ➤ Sioux Falls police, Urban Indian Health and downtown ambassadors met with local business owners on March 24th to plan a new season of outreach to reduce rising behavior issues downtown and approved a $175,000 contract for the Wo’Okiye Project—an initiative that coordinates street outreach, treatment and cultural services.
