EDUCATION NEWS

  • Sioux Falls public high school graduation ceremonies will be held Sunday, May 17 at the Sioux Falls Arena, with events starting at 11:00 a.m. for Roosevelt, 1:45 p.m. for Washington, 4:30 p.m. for Lincoln and 7:15 p.m. for Jefferson (live streams are available online for those who cannot attend).  KXRB

ENVIRONMENT NEWS

  • A mountain lion was spotted in downtown Sioux Falls on March 18, though attacks on humans remain extremely rare, according to local officials. Residents are advised to remain calm and avoid approaching the animal (if encountered).  South Dakota News Watch
