- ➤ Traffic on Minnesota Avenue will be limited to one lane each way from Second to Eighth starting Monday, March 9 for street upgrades (sewer, water main, and lighting improvements). A public open house for the North Marion Road overpass project will be held Wednesday, March 11 at the SDOT office. City of Sioux Falls
- ➤ Lawmakers in Pierre debated a bill to ban cell phones in schools unless used for education or medical purposes but the House voted 28 to 39 against it. Governor Rhoden said after meetings with education officials (Dr. Graves and Sandy Rhoden) that local school boards should set the rules. KTIV
