Good morning, Sioux Falls.

South Dakota Women's Ag Network has introduced a team led by four hub managers in Eagle Butte, Huron, Sioux Falls and Spearfish to support women in agriculture.

An advisory committee of ag experts (including leaders from state universities, cooperatives and tribal enterprises) will guide programming based on regional needs.

After a statewide survey showed women in agriculture crave connection, the Women’s Ag Network launched in 2024 with a $1.2 million grant to support networking and leadership development statewide.

Organizers plan to hold small group discussion sessions and informal events to bolster peer support and career growth in agriculture.
