Molin Sioux Falls took over Gage Brothers Concrete Products’ assets on Jan.
5 at 2810 N. Bahnson Ave and now employs about half of the 500 workers from Gage. The acquisition is expected to boost local projects by offering single-source design and installation services.
The Original Pancake House on West 41st Street announced it is closed for maintenance from Jan.
5 to Jan. 7 — it will reopen Jan. 8 at 6 a.m. for customers seeking their famous breakfast.

Rock legend David Lee Roth will perform at the Washington Pavilion on Monday, June 15.

South Dakota’s minimum wage increased from $11.50 to $11.85 an hour on Jan.

Sanford Orthopedic Hospital will open on Monday, Jan.
12 at Sanford Health's main campus to offer 12 orthopedic operating rooms and the state's first iMRI (for precise surgeries). The new facility is designed to enhance patient care with streamlined access to additional clinics and an onsite hotel.
